HyperTerminal Alternatives for Windows 7 or Vista

HyperTerminal is no longer part of Windows. There are several options you can use to replace its functionality.There are several alternative programs/tools like HyperTerminal Private Edition,TeraTerm,Putty etc.If you just can’t live without the original HyperTerminal in Windows XP, you can actually extract two files from your XP installation and copy them over to Windows 7 or Vista.

1.From Windows XP copy:

i) hypertrm.exe from C:\Program Files\Windows NT\
ii) hypertrm.dll from C:\Windows\System32\
to the same folder location in Windows 7/Windows Vista.

2. Create a shortcut for HyperTerminal on the Desktop if you wish and run the application.

How to rename the Microsoft Windows Recycle Bin

1) Click Start / Run
2) Type regedit and press enter.
3) Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache
4)Double click on the following value:
@C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHELL32.dll,-8964
5)Change the value to whatever you wish,if you changed value to Garbage then your recycle bin's name wll be renamed to Garbage.
6)Click OK and close out regedit
7)Click on a blank area of the desktop and select refresh from the context menu.

n if u dont like that arrow, then i have sollution of that Arrow...
after applying ma tip the ARROW will be clear...

1)open REGEDIT FROM RUN OR FROM SOMEWHERE...
2)THEN EXPAND "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT"
3)THEN FIND "LNKFILE" WHEN U FOUND THEN DELETE "IsSHORTCUT" FROM IT.
4)THEN FIND "PIFFILE" AND DELETE "IsSHORTCUT" FROM IT.
5) AFTER THAT RESTART OR LOG OFF UR COMPUTER...

U WONT SEE ANY ARROW ON SHORTCUT FORLDER OR FILE...
